About the position

At Outta Boundz, our Desk Attendants play a crucial role in setting the stage for every visit to our center. With their expert knowledge of our product offering, our Desk Attendants anticipate guest needs and provide valuable recommendations to ensure that every guest has a top-notch experience. They also exhibit genuine enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor that makes every guest feel welcome and appreciated.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?
  • Manage bowling lane inventory by handling the waiting list, assigning lanes, renting shoes, and processing checkouts for guests
  • Provide friendly and positive communication to guests in person and over the phone, making sure they feel appreciated
  • Answer and direct incoming calls as needed
  • Collaborate with Bowl Attendants to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect, clean, and organize rental shoes
  • Handle lane malfunction calls and operate the lane intercom system
  • Inform guests about available products and services to enhance their experience
  • Meet or exceed company goals by effectively promoting the Center’s offerings
  • Work with Bowl Attendants to keep tables clean and facilitate quick lane turnover
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including all areas of the Center
  • Ensure proper lane turnover according to company policies
  • Perform opening, mid-day, or closing preparation, cleaning, and maintenance duties as assigned by management
  • Display promotional material
  • Attend all scheduled meetings
  • Open and close the Center as directed by management
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Company management
Position Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess and maintain knowledge of the Center’s facilities, activities, services, and products for customer purchase
  • Ability to operate the point of sale system and verify credit card transactions
  • Possess good customer relations abilities, an outgoing and friendly manner, a courteous and cooperative attitude, and a team-oriented mindset
  • A minimum of 6 months of job experience with cash handling and public interaction responsibilities is preferred
  • Basic reading skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and the ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
  • Maintain a well-groomed and neat appearance
