Why is Skatetown Hysteria converting to Outta Boundz Entertainment Center?
Skatetown Family Fun Center has operated in the community of Bloomsburg, PA, for 20 years – 8 of which were under the business of Skatetown Hysteria – and over that time, the entertainment industry has changed dramatically.
For nearly two decades, we have seen the need for traditional roller skating centers to adapt to meet the guests who have more options for entertainment than ever before. In 2011, our roller skating center went under construction to become a brand new entertainment center called Skatetown Hysteria. This new facility featured roller skating, laser tag, video arcade games, an inflatable obstacle course, and a ball pit.
Since we made those changes, we noticed that we have to broaden our customer focus to adults. And that’s why we are converting our roller skating center into a state-of-the-art bowling center.
We have seen that by investing in new technology, broadening our customer focus, and offering a wider variety of entertainment options, Outta Boundz will be able to provide a higher-quality experience for families of all ages.
Will the center be closed during the renovation?
Yes. Due to extensive renovations being made, we will be closed during construction. This will allow us to complete the needed work more quickly so we can re-open it to the public as soon as it is possible.
What attractions are expected with the renovation?
Our new location will be designed to entertain and impress!
Outta Boundz will feature a state-of-the-art bowling experience with private “VIP” bowling areas, an arcade housing a captivating array of games, an upscale restaurant and bar complete with large, high-definition video screens, an axe throwing area, dart boards, laser tag, a meeting/party room, and more exciting attractions.
