About the position

At Outta Boundz, we are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Dishwashers. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our establishment. You will be responsible for maintaining a hygienic and sanitary kitchen environment by efficiently washing and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding cleanliness standards will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Sort, stack, and store cleaned items in appropriate storage areas.
• Ensure the availability of clean dishes, glassware, and silverware for use by the kitchen staff and guests.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including the proper storage of cleaning supplies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to an efficient operation.
• Assist in other kitchen duties, such as cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, as directed by the supervisor or manager.

Position Requirements

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume dishwashing efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and humid environment.
• Team player mentality with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
