About the position

At Outta Boundz, as a porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas, including dining areas, restrooms, and common areas, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Your attention to detail and commitment to creating a welcoming environment will contribute to an exceptional guest

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the facility, including dining areas, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces to ensure a clean and presentable environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace garbage bags as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restock restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, and equipment for special events or functions.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
• Follow established health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service when interacting with guests, answering questions or directing them as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.

Position Requirements

• Previous experience as a porter or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
